Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Monroe, Louisiana, is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to strengthen quality systems and enable sustainable process improvements across the site.

You will investigate defects, lead root-cause analyses, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive reductions in cost of poor quality and improve product performance.

The role emphasizes ownership, continuous improvement, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality-related field.
• Minimum three years' experience in manufacturing quality or a related role.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of customer complaints and warranty issues.
• Support and improve the site's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal process audits and support customer/certification audits.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and reduce defects.
• Develop and maintain PPAPs, PFMEAs, MSAs, SPCs, and CPs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product quality.
• Provide quality training and promote continuous improvement.
