Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a Quality Engineer in Stamford, CT. The role focuses on leading site-level quality control, developing QC plans, and ensuring ISO 9001 conformance. You will drive continuous improvement, analyze quality data, and support supplier quality initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing quality, and familiarity with QMS and ISO 9001/AS9100. Excellent benefits and room for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Quality role within manufacturing; up to 2 years cross-functional in Quality.
• ISO 9001 / AS9100 Auditor Certification preferred.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Experience implementing and maintaining QMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-level QC leadership and support for audits including ISO 9001 compliance.
• Design and maintain quality control plans and inspection systems.
• Oversee product quality across the value stream; act as quality rep for inspections and CAPA.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and engagement.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to meet KPI targets.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and lead corrective actions.
• Lead supplier quality development and supplier quality audits.
