Job summary

Jobot, based in Hayward, CA, seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure quality across production in a high-tech contract manufacturing environment. You will work with QMS, drive process improvements, and coordinate with customers and vendors on quality issues.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in quality engineering, GD&T expertise, and familiarity with PPAP, 8D, 5-Why, and SQC. SolidWorks and MS Office skills are required; this is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in general engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Must be familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality engineering or similar manufacturing role.
• Experience with quality control methodologies, PPAP, 8D, 5-Why, SQC.
• Experience in semiconductor or aerospace component manufacturing.
• Basic SolidWorks and advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality throughout production using QMS.
• Maintain, improve, and evolve QMS processes and procedures.
• Work with customers and vendors on all quality-related matters.
• Perform postmortems and RCCAs on non-conformances.
• Execute assigned quality engineering tasks as directed by the Quality Engineering Manager.
