Job summary

Jobot in Riverton, CT is seeking a dynamic Permanent Quality Engineer to uphold AS9100 standards and drive continuous improvement in airfoil manufacturing. You will partner with manufacturing and engineering to ensure the highest quality, lead first article inspections, and guide quality initiatives from prototype to release.

The role focuses on building robust QA processes, audits, and data-driven actions for process improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with AS9100 standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field. (Preferred)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering processes.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficient in using quality assurance software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to meet AS9100 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Perform first article inspections and provide technical guidance to the manufacturing team.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement quality assurance testing methods and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control and assurance procedures.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
