3M is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality improvement across multiple manufacturing value streams onsite in Clinton, TN. You will lead investigations, apply statistical methods, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain quality systems and processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, experience with ISO 9001, and strong problem-solving skills. Travel up to 10% may be needed and relocation assistance may be authorized.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (completed and verified prior to start).

Responsabilidades

• Support QMS and ISO readiness across multiple manufacturing value streams.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and preventive actions to improve product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
• Apply quality engineering and statistical methods (SPC, Process Capability, Gage R&R, DOE, FMEA) to identify and eliminate sources of variation.
• Conduct and lead process audits, system audits, product qualifications, and process validation activities.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations, sourcing, laboratory, and technical organizations to sustain quality systems and processes.
• Support supplier quality improvement activities, supplier corrective actions, and supplier performance initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce cost of poor quality and improve process performance.
• Support customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide quality leadership for new products, process changes, capital projects, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Act as a quality resource and consultant to manufacturing teams using quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
