Job summary

3M is seeking a Quality Engineer to collaborate with a global team and drive quality as a competitive advantage. You will work with manufacturing colleagues, apply quality tools, and lead improvement programs in Angleton, TX.

The role requires a engineering degree and 2+ years of plant experience, with travel up to 10% and relocation possible. The compensation range for this position includes base pay and incentive; details in the posting.

Qualifications

Two or more years of plant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Engineering and/or Product Engineering.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
Experience with quality engineering tools and change management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work with a manufacturing team to foster diverse, cross-functional collaboration.
Promote Quality as a Competitive Advantage with a customer-first and sustainability mindset.
Identify product quality improvements and lead priority programs with proposal, prioritization and execution.
Track KPIs such as Lean Six Sigma savings and Cost of Quality.
Provide statistical insights via control charts, capability analysis and experimental design.
Support SPC and SQC initiatives within the team.
