Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
• At least 2 years of combined plant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Engineering and/or Product Engineering (private, public, government or military environment).
• Experience with quality engineering tools such as DQM, House of Quality, PPU, Statistics, APQP, FMEA, control plans, PPAP, SAP and/or PLM documentation systems.
• Experience with change management, complaint management, supplier management, auditing ISO 9001 and/or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Certifications in quality engineering, quality auditing or quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSQP) from ASQ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with a manufacturing team that honors diversity and fosters positive partnerships.
• Collaborate across functions to promote efficient working relationships.
• Promote Quality as a Competitive Advantage with a customer-first and sustainability mindset to reduce risk and improve quality.
• Identify product quality improvement opportunities and manage KPIs (LSS savings, COQ, etc.).
• Provide statistical insights through control charts, capability studies, SPC and SQC analyses.
