Job summary

J&O Plastics, a leading manufacturer of quality custom injection molding, seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet quality standards. You will develop and maintain robust quality control systems, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage new product launches and ensure successful qualification and manufacturing execution. The role reports to the Director of Quality & Operational Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years' experience in quality/process engineering and/or continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve quality issues via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead/participate in strategic projects to improve product quality and efficiencies.
• Support Quality Management System and inspection plans.
• Lead audits with internal and external customers as defined by QMS.
• Monitor supplier quality and drive corrective actions with sourcing.
• Lead quality/CI projects related to MES, data analysis, and SPC.
