Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer for plastic injection molding to own quality performance and drive improvements across manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and hands-on problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will lead quality strategy in injection molding, develop plans, support new product launches, and ensure timely test reporting to customers while upholding ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Understanding of FAI and PPAP.
• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment using PC-DMIS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality strategy and execution across injection molding operations.
• Develop quality plans, perform contract reviews, and support new product launches.
• Provide timely communication and delivery of test reports to customers.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues through corrective actions.
• Develop and control inspection plans for molding and secondary operations.
• Support and enforce ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
• Utilize and program CMM, PC-DMIS and handheld measuring equipment.
• Mentor and develop quality team members and foster continuous improvement.
