Job summary

WorldBridge Partners partners with a world-class manufacturer in the Chino, CA area to hire a Quality Engineer. The role focuses on maintaining and improving quality management systems, ensuring customer and regulatory compliance, and leading quality technicians to uphold production standards.

The successful candidate will drive corrective actions, support PPAP/APQP, and collaborate cross-functionally to reduce variability and improve process capability within a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or quality
• Minimum of three years quality or manufacturing experience
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and quality systems
• Internal Auditor cert for ISO 900/13485 or FDA regs
• Experience with PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process documentation
• Knowledge of SPC and process capability
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Support ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Lead internal quality audits and CAPA activities.
• Oversee PPAP and APQP processes.
• Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead problem-solving using 8D and root cause analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and drive quality improvements.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, and safety initiatives.
