Job summary

Plastipak is seeking an Injection Molding Process Engineer to own process health, product quality, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in the Injection Department. You will monitor injection molding processes, validate startups, and work with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance for safe, stable, and efficient production.

You will track QAUTO, SPC data and process trends daily; maintain documentation; and collaborate on training while supporting ISO standards and TPM objectives across

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; BS in Engineering field a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor process changes in injection department; assess equipment startups; track ware and scrap; implement corrective actions
• Monitor QAUTO, SPC data, process trends daily and respond with appropriate actions
• Maintain technical documentation and serve as the technical process resource for the department
• Collaborate to develop and execute training for the injection department
• Support ISO standards, food safety defense program, and TPM objectives
