Job summary

Clarios, LLC in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support battery production through standardization and improvements, focusing on quality and OEE.

You will lead audits, maintain PFMEAs and Control Plans, develop business cases for capital projects, and act as SME for manufacturing processes and training.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong problem-solving and project management, and ability to work cross-functionally to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, quality, or process improvement initiatives in a production environment.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience conducting manufacturing and quality audits.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Preferred battery manufacturing experience.
• Experience with OEE improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
• Experience developing new manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Knowledge of calibration systems and equipment maintenance processes.
• Experience supporting product validation and manufacturing engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing quality initiatives, audits, and process improvements.
• Maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and related quality docs.
• Develop capital project business cases and implementation plans.
