Job summary

nVent seeks a Quality professional to represent the Quality function, liaise with customers, and drive quality across manufacturing and suppliers. You will lead MRB activities, manage NCRs, and support APQP for new launches. Strong in Six Sigma and PFMEA is preferred.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, compliant products and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Manufacturing or Quality processes.
• CQE/CMQ/CQA and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training are strongly preferred.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and quality systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Quality function and liaise with customers to build trust.
• Engage customers at multiple levels and align on quality expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
• Support production to deliver high-quality, compliant products.
• Lead MRB activities and drive corrective actions.
• Manage NCRs and external quality issues from detection to resolution.
• Evaluate suspect or nonconforming materials and implement actions.
• Lead quality problem-solving using Six Sigma methodologies.
• Support APQP activities for new product launches including PFMEA, Control Plans, and FAI.
