Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Quality Engineer 2 to provide QA/QC support for customers, suppliers, and production. You will ensure conformance to requirements and act as a liaison on quality matters, reporting to the Quality Manager.

You will participate in audits, drive corrective actions, and help continually improve processes. A degree in engineering and manufacturing experience are required, with aerospace quality knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment; machining industry preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 aerospace quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Review customer and supplier quality requirements and ensure compliance.
• Lead internal audits and drive corrective actions (CARs/NCRs).
• Develop and maintain QC plans and inspection procedures.
• Interface with customers on quality issues and audits.
• Support continuous improvement and data-driven quality initiatives.
• Address and communicate quality gaps and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product conformity.
• Monitor supplier quality and implement corrective actions.
