Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Quality Engineer 2 to provide QA/QC support to customers, suppliers and internal production. You will liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure compliance with quality requirements and drive continuous improvement.

The role covers reviewing RFQs, preparing inspection plans, addressing inquiries, and hosting audits. Requires knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing environment; machining preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001; aerospace experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality assurance and control support to customers, suppliers, and internal production.
• Review customer documentation for RFQs and orders; ensure manufacturing, technical and quality requirements are met.
• Prepare and review Inspection & Control Plans and other quality documents.
• Host and participate in customer audits and drive continual improvement.
• Lead internal audits and ensure RCAs for CARs/NCRs; implement AS13100 QMS as applicable.
