Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Quality Engineer II to ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance across Darien and Beloit facilities. You will develop and maintain QMS documentation, lead CAPA and supplier audits, and mentor junior staff while driving continuous improvement.

The role includes data analysis of field performance and presenting findings to cross-functional leadership. The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing quality, with experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a quality-focused role in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of ISO 9001 or IATF/TS 16949 auditing experience.
• Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, APQP, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead corrective actions using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Conduct onsite and remote supplier audits and manage supplier scorecards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS documentation and process maps.
• Monitor field performance data and present trend analyses to leadership.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Lead APQP activities and PPAP submissions for new programs.
