Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead our quality systems and ensure all manufacturing, repairs, and services meet customer requirements. You will drive continuous improvement, audit processes, and coordinate quality activities across the facility.

You will apply Servant Leadership to build trust, train staff, and optimize quality performance, with emphasis on documentation, records, and preventive actions to reduce warranty and rework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality roles.
• Experience managing ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Training and experience in quality control and assurance.
• Electrical testing experience highly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to handle a variety of responsibilities.
• Ability to relate well with others in a professional manner.
• Ability to train others and lead teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS applications or equivalent statistical software.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications to ensure requirements are included in shop work orders.
• Assure compliance with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Perform internal audits at critical points in the repair processes.
• Lead and maintain an effective quality management system per ISO 9001:2015.
• Facilitate implementation of continuous improvement practices across the facility.
• Ensure records are kept and maintained per IPS QA program.
• Collect and analyze quality data and provide summaries of metrics.
• Generate presentations and conduct quarterly quality reviews.
• Coordinate and facilitate customer quality audits.
• Participate in team meetings, risk assessments, and process improvements.
• Inspect the facility to detect noncompliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Review contracts to ensure requirements are incorporated into work planning.
• Generate motor inspection and repair reports documenting compliance.
• Cross-train in other areas to support improvement initiatives.
