Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field; Mechanical/Manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a quality-focused role in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years with ISO 9001 or IATF auditing responsibilities; lead auditor certification preferred.
• Experience with structured problem-solving tools (8D, fishbone, 5 Whys, DMAIC).
• Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, APQP, and SPC.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% for supplier visits/audits.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Software proficiency: ERP and QMS (Epicor or equivalent).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ CQE preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead corrective actions using 8D, DMAIC, and Root Cause Analysis; own closure and verification.
• Conduct supplier audits and develop improvement plans; manage supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain QMS documentation, procedures, forms, and control; drive document control improvements.
• Support creation and implementation of Standard Work; monitor processes for efficiency.
• Analyze field performance data (returns, warranty) and present trends to leadership.
• Maintain KPIs (DPPM, defects, audit findings) and elevate risks with corrective actions.
• Lead internal QMS audits and mentor junior staff in audit techniques.
• Provide training on quality standards; support APQP/PPAP for new programs.
