Job summary

Plug Power seeks a Quality Engineer II to drive continuous quality improvements and manage a certified QMS aligned with ISO 9001:2015. You will work with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure product quality, environmental, safety and regulatory compliance, while leading PPAP/PSW and CAPA initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or STEM field required.
• 3-5 years in engineering quality roles.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or ISO13485.
• Ability to read engineering diagrams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Lead root-cause analyses and CAPA investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to Regulatory, Corporate, and Plant standards.
• Develop and maintain a certified QMS to ISO 9001:2015; support PPAP/PSW prep.
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to revise procedures to ISO 9001:2015.
• Provide training to operations personnel in quality practices.
• Lead in-process inspection capabilities and Material Review Board discussions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to improve inspection processes and tools.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure QMS compliance.
