Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking a Quality Engineer I to support manufacturing line quality, drive continuous improvement and ensure product conformance to specifications. You will collaborate across operations, supply chain, quality, engineering and logistics, leading kaizen events and value-stream mapping.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving, PFMEA/SPC knowledge, and the ability to coach others in lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or Technology and 1-3 years in manufacturing/continuous process.
• Functional AutoCAD skills and geometric tolerancing are required.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, SPC, process capability and lean manufacturing is preferred.
• Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems; ASQ CQE/CSSGB/CSSBB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive corrective action through root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Own quality metrics for the responsible area and lead cross-functional kaizen events.
• Develop and execute process validation plans and document results.
• Read and interpret drawings/standards and translate into control plans and work instructions.
