Andersen Corporation's Cottage Grove, MN facility is seeking an Engineering Technologist II to support a manufacturing line, monitor and improve processes to meet customer and business needs. You will help troubleshoot, document, and implement enhancements with cross-functional teams.

Collaborating with operations, quality, engineering and maintenance, you will create training materials, analyze data, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree or equivalent combination of formalized technical education and experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation communication.
• Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling (AutoCAD/Inventor) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational technical support for existing manufacturing line processes.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance to solve issues.
• Troubleshoot problems with other technical employees, suppliers, and outside experts.
• Create training tools, documents, and standard operating procedures for production processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and events.
• Present technical information or proposals to team members.
• Offer assistance/mentor for less experienced technical employees.
• Conduct testing related to introducing product improvements into the manufacturing process.
