Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Minnesota seeks a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing line quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure product conformance to specifications. Collaborate across operations, supply chain, quality, logistics, and engineering to implement corrective actions and Lean Sigma initiatives.

The role emphasizes data analysis, process validation planning, and participation in cross-functional kaizen events, with a strong focus on metric ownership and driving quality

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or Technology.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing, continuous process environment.
• Functional AutoCAD skills and geometric tolerancing.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, quality programs, SPC, process capability and lean manufacturing principles.
• Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems.
• ASQ CQE/CSSGB/CSSBB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make critical decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving.
• Owning the quality metrics of the responsible area.
• Lead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.
• Usage of Excel or Minitab to analyze data and detect trends.
• Provides quality assurance support to ensure products meet defined quality requirements.
