Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) in Utah seeks a QA-focused engineer to develop and maintain quality systems for processing materials into finished products. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure standards, perform inspections, and implement corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in QA in manufacturing, familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100, and knowledge of GD&T and CMM-based inspection. A Bachelor’s in Engineering and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in designated Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years experience in QA/manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in print reading, interpretation, and part measurement.
• Knowledge of APQP, FAI, FMEA and other quality tools.
• Applied statistical quality control to assess product conformity.
• Investigates quality problems and proposes solutions.
• Communicates clearly, organizes work, and leads team efforts.
