Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking a QA-focused professional to develop and maintain quality systems for processing materials into finished products. You will work with engineering and manufacturing to ensure strict QA standards are met and to perform inspections, testing, and data analysis.

Responsibilities include applying APQP tools, interpreting GD&T, and conducting QA investigations to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in designated Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years experience in QA/manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of inspection tools, equipment, methods, and instrumentation (including CMM).
• Ability to interpret and use Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• 0-2 years QA experience in composite airframe components and assemblies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in print reading, interpretation, and part measurement.
• Knowledge of APQP (Control Plans, FAI, FMEA) and other advanced quality tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T.
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical quality control.
• Investigate quality problems and develop solutions using sound technical judgment.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and plan workloads.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to lead and motivate others.
• High level of analytical ability to resolve problems.
