AlbanyEngineered Composites (AEC) is a leading designer and manufacturer of lightweight composite aerospace structures and components. The inspector role focuses on verifying conformance to specs, performing visual and measurement tests, and ensuring quality from incoming to finished products.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, maintaining QA records, and enforcing safety and environmental standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Reasonably good manual dexterity.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach and lift 40 lbs. minimum repetitively.
• Must be able to withstand repetitive contact with water and moisture.
• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to understand Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Ability to understand basic mathematical methods.

Responsabilités

• Inspects and approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
• Performs inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and other related documents.
• Inspected aircraft components to assure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and general aircraft standards.
• Rechecks work after adjustment or repair.
• Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
