Job summary

Albany International Corp. inSalt Lake City, UT is seeking a Quality Engineer with 0-2 years of QA/manufacturing experience. You will support inspection, GD&T, FAI, and ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance, working with CMM tools and quality processes in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing prints, applying QA methods, and collaborating with engineering to resolve quality issues while maintaining the documentation and audits required by aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years QA experience in manufacturing (aerospace preferred).
• Working knowledge of inspection tools, equipment, methods and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret and use GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Basic computer skills (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• FAI experience would be a plus.
• A&P license or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in print reading, interpretation, and part measurement.
• Apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure standards.
• Design and analyze inspection/test processes and equipment.
• Conduct QA tests and statistical analysis for non-conforming products.
• Audit quality systems and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively and plan work; demonstrate leadership when needed.
