Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Bluffton, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead a Quality Technician and drive improvements in a modern, non-bureaucratic plant backed by recent capital investments.

The role features a Monday–Friday day shift with minimal weekends, hands-on leadership, direct access to owners, and opportunities to learn new manufacturing processes while ensuring ISO 9001 quality systems and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality position in manufacturing.
• Experience with a formal Quality Management System (QMS) such as ISO or IATF.
• Experience with RCA and corrective actions.
• MS Office experience, including basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ISO 9001 certification, including compliance, documentation, audits, etc.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues
• Complete customer quality paperwork and documentation
• Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs and metrics
• Lead RCA and corrective actions
• Document inspection results and quality findings in the ERP system
• Work on the production floor up to 50% of the day
• Collaborate with the General Manager and team to meet production goals and customer requests
