Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks a Quality Engineer to lead a quality team on a Monday–Friday day shift in Bluffton, OH. You will own ISO 9001 certification, drive continuous improvement, and interact with customers to resolve quality issues on the production floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with management to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards in a non-bureaucratic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; 2–3 years in a similar quality role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a formal QMS (ISO or IATF).
• Experience with RCA and corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own ISO 9001 certification tasks including compliance, audits, and documentation.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues.
• Complete quality paperwork and documentation for customer-specific requests.
• Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs and metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Provide status updates to internal teams and customers.
• Conduct internal audits and deliver quality training to the team.
• Document inspection results in the ERP system.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.
