Job summary

Top Echelon Software in Bluffton, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to lead a Quality Technician and drive quality improvements on the production floor. The role reports to the General Manager on a Monday-Friday day schedule with minimal weekends, backed by a diversified manufacturing portfolio and recent capital investments.

You will own the ISO 9001 program, manage customer communications, and push for KPI-driven quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality role in manufacturing.
• Experience with QMS (ISO/IATF) and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Quality Technician and work on the production floor up to 50% of the day.
• Own ISO 9001 certification processes including documentation and internal audits.
• Communicate quality status with customers and internal teams.
• Develop and monitor quality KPIs and drive continual improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Document inspection results in the ERP system and report to management.
