Job summary

6 Degrees Search in the Bluffton, OH area is hiring a Quality Engineer to lead a hands-on quality team on a Monday–Friday day shift in an upgraded plant backed by recent capital investments.

You will own ISO 9001 certification, drive RCA and corrective actions, monitor KPI performance, and communicate quality status with customers and leadership in a fast, non-bureaucratic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing with a formal quality management system (QMS) such as ISO or IATF.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective actions capabilities.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; 2–3 years in a similar quality role.
• Proficient with audits, documentation, and customer communications.

Responsibilities

• Own ISO 9001 certification processes, audits, and documentation.
• Lead quality metrics, KPIs, and data analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate quality status to internal teams and customers.
• Document inspection results in ERP system.
