Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the customer complaint and CAPA process, ensuring products meet ISO 9001 and QMS standards through timely investigation, containment, and resolution.

You will lead root cause analyses, manage CAPAs across multiple projects, perform risk assessments, containment, traceability, and customer communications, while supporting audits and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; equivalencies considered.
• CQE certification is a plus.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge or similar standards required.
• Experience with root cause analysis and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of customer complaints and CAPAs to closure.
• Lead root cause investigations for concurrent projects.
• Apply risk-based thinking to assess severity and impact of quality issues.
• Oversee containment and control of nonconforming outputs.
• Define scope using traceability records for quality deviations.
• Prepare clear written and verbal technical responses for customers and stakeholders.
• Implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Analyze data trends with quality team and support management reviews.
• Assist during internal, customer, and third-party audits.
