Job summary

ND Defense seeks a Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality in the manufacturing plant, serving as the primary customer interface for quality matters. The role provides hands-on support to production, leads root cause investigations, mentors the quality team, and ensures ISO and MIL compliance.

A strong technical leader on the plant floor is required to manage communications and drive measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• 8+ years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience.
• Knowledge of core quality tools and problem-solving methods.
• US Person as a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for customer quality correspondence and quality objectives.
• Lead 8D investigations and drive CAPA.
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce scrap, rework, COPQ.
• Manage non-conforming material and MRB activities.
• Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, process flow diagrams, and work instructions.
• Support APQP/PPAP for new product launches.
• Mentor quality team and lead cross-functional problem-solving teams.
