Job summary

You will support APQP activities, problem solving, and continuous improvement in line with IATF 16949 standards. You will lead quality planning, monitor processes, investigate complaints using 8D and other methods, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions across manufacturing, engineering, and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
• Experience with customer portals and OEM quality requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SharePoint a plus.
• Action-oriented with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning activities including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa analysis.
• Coordinate containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Conduct internal process audits and support external customer and certification audits.
• Analyze quality data, SPC trends, scrap, rework, and warranty metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Review engineering changes and assess quality impact on products and processes.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and customers to resolve quality concerns.
• Maintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
• Manage customer communication within customer specific portals and systems.
