Job summary

The Integration Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor, execute, and manage quality processes aligned with customer expectations and company goals. This role covers quality, design, continuous improvement, and safety to ensure products meet required standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include performing audits, PPAP compliance, creating work instructions, packaging specs, and driving continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or applicable field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of quality or design engineering experience, and at least 3 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with GD&T drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to perform precise measurements, solid math skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and audits across all stages of production, receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
• Ensure we meet client required quality documentation and PPAP requirements.
• Create work instructions including packaging requirements for new kits and assemblies.
• Determine packaging specifications per product requirements (shipping protection, rust prevention).
• Work with sales, supply chain, and customers on projects and improvement initiatives.
• Drive the defect log and oversee rapid issue resolution.
• Manage the non-conforming area and pursue zero defect goals.
• Assist with customer communication on quality concerns and warranty claims.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and other quality certifications and participate in audits.
• Support HazMat shipping protocols and related documentation.
