Job summary

Autoliv in Ogden, UT is seeking a quality leader to drive investigation, containment and resolution of customer and manufacturing issues. You will lead cross‑functional problem solving using 8D, RCA and CAPA to identify, eliminate and prevent recurrence, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Quality and Supplier Quality.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field and proven experience with 8D, RCA, ISO 9001,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Proven experience leading structured problem-solving initiatives including 8D, RCA and CAPA.
• Strong engineering and manufacturing background in automotive or quality-focused production.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and auditing practices (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional problem-solving activities for customer complaints and critical internal quality issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Facilitate 8D investigations and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies and quality tools.
• Develop, implement, and validate corrective and preventive actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate containment activities and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Quality, and Supplier Quality teams to protect customers and maintain production continuity.
• Analyze quality data, trends, customer feedback, and production performance to drive continuous improvement, promote best practices, and enhance overall plant quality performance.
