Job summary

Autoliv United States is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes ensuring safety, quality and cost effectiveness. You will support day-to-day production, drive improvements and oversee new product launches.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma experience with cross-functional collaboration across Quality, Maintenance and Production teams.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing or high-volume production
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills on shop floor
  • Experience with root-cause analysis methods (8D, 5 Why) and CAPA
  • Familiarity with SPC and process capability analysis
  • Willingness to work off-shift during product launches or critical events

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for safety, quality, efficiency and launches
  • Monitor process performance using SPC and data analysis to identify improvements
  • Lead root cause investigations with 8D and 5 Why and implement CAPA
  • Provide real-time production support by troubleshooting equipment and resolving process issues
  • Drive continuous improvement with Lean and Six Sigma with cross-functional teams
