Job summary

Autoliv United States is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure safety-critical products meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. You will lead QA activities, develop inspection and testing methods, perform statistical analysis, and drive continuous improvement across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Product Development teams.

Domestic travel and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; leadership or project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and RCA methodologies.
• Experience with process control, data analysis, statistical methods, and quality systems compliant with IATF 16949.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel internationally and provide after-hours support for critical quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Support proactive and reactive quality initiatives to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for quality and reliability.
• Conduct quality assurance testing, statistical analysis, and process monitoring using SPC/DOE.
• Create and maintain quality documentation (PPAPs, Control Plans, inspection sheets, LOT tests).
• Lead investigations and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
