Job summary

Productive Resources LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the engineering team at the customer facility in Moline, IL. The role will be integrated into the engineering culture and focus on targeted quality assignments with supervisor review as needed.

The successful candidate will support production, analyze data, and drive corrective actions while maintaining quality reports and data systems such as QDAS and JDAAT.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing setting.
• Comfort working with production teams to monitor product quality.
• Proficient use of standard office software (MS Suite).

Responsibilities

• Support the production floor through quality processes such as scrap, non-conforming material, MRB, and cleanliness testing.
• Act as the primary quality contact for multiple departments, providing daily on-the-floor support.
• Collect and analyze data, drive corrective actions within teams.
• Assist with quality reports and maintain automated data collection systems (QDAS, JDAAT).

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customers facility in Moline, IL. As a member of our team, the right candidate will fully integrate as a Quality Engineer into the engineering culture by performing specific quality engineering assignments that are limited in scope, depth and degree of skill required. Work plans and decisions are usually reviewed by others.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Support the production floor though execution of our Scrap, Non-Conforming Material, Material Review Board, and Cleanliness Testing processes.
• Be the primary Quality contact for multiple manufacturing departments (machining, plating, welding, assembly, etc) providing daily boots-on-the-ground support to the operators for any concerns that could impact product quality.
• Gather and analyze data and drive corrective action within teams.
• Support several Quality reports and maintain automated data collection systems, such as QDAS, and JDAAT.

Requirements:

• Can do attitude with a willingness to engage, learn and adapt to changing needs of business.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Computer Proficiency in basic office applications (MS Suite).
