Job summary

Antolin, a leading global automotive supplier, is seeking a Quality Engineer in Kansas City to lead quality improvements across production lines and suppliers. The role focuses on PPAP, MSA, control plans, FMEA, and SPC while ensuring conformance to customer specifications and company quality systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in automotive QA, experience with FORD/GM, and working knowledge of SAP and related tools. Proficiency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvements to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional actions with production, design, and supply chain to resolve issues.
• Monitor key process indicators, drive corrective actions, and reduce waste and variation.

Mission:

• Achieve customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of the plant's production processes and adherence to the quality system, reducing waste to a minimum, through leadership in the work team and with members of other departments. Coordinate efforts to achieve a quality product in accordance with our customers' specifications, meeting their expectations, promoting self-control in the processes, complying with the quality systems established by Antolín Kansas City.

Skills & Abilities:

• Core AIAG quality training, including PPAP, MSA, Control Plans, FMEA, and SPC.
• Strong competency in metrology, blueprint reading, statistical techniques, and color/appearance measurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Antolin systems such as BEONE, SAP, QIM, and NCR (preferred).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; Spanish language ability is desired.

What we are looking for:

• Industrial engineer similar or related career.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Quality Engineer in the Automotive Industry.
• At least 1 year of experience with FORD/GM
• AMEF knowledge

• Immediate response to emerging situations in Engineering Area.
• Knowledge on assembly, injection and pressing processes.
• Molding Experience
• Conversational English.
