Job summary

Antolin, a leading global automotive supplier, seeks a Quality Director - Headliners in Shelby Township, Michigan. You will oversee quality strategy, coordinate product and process development phases, and ensure compliance with customer standards.

You will lead and mentor teams across plants, drive continuous improvement, and support APQP, PPAP, and related milestones. Travel may be domestic and international.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5–7 years experience in a Quality function.
• 3–5 years of direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the territory's Quality strategic plan aligns with the GANA Executive Committee and Corporate Quality function.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through management and improvement of territorial quality systems and issue resolution.
• Assist plants with customer meetings and provide mentoring on problem solving.
• Support Plant Quality functions to ensure standardized approaches to plant metrics and improvement plans.
• Ensure manufacturing best practices are communicated and implemented across territorial facilities.

Mission:

Ensure the proper execution of product and process development phases by coordinating project quality activities, validating concepts, processes, and products according to customer and internal requirements. Guarantee robust industrial implementation by supporting APQP, PPCR, IPA, CPA, and related milestones while ensuring compliance with Antolin procedures and customer standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of the territory's Quality strategic plan in accordance with the strategic direction of the GANA Executive Committee and Corporate Quality Function.
• Ensure customer satisfaction thru management and improvement of territorial quality systems and resolution of customer issues.
• Assist plants with customer meetings and provide direction/mentoring with problem solving.
• Support Plant Quality functions to ensure consistent, standardized approach with regard to plant metrics and improvement plans.
• Ensure Manufacturing best practices are communicated and implemented throughout all territorial facilities.
• Assist with and ensure consistent implementation of the GA production system across all territorial facilities.
• Able to ensure that all quality systems in the plants are aligned toward achieving overall strategic goals; continually communicate and reinforce the highest priority strategic initiatives to keep the plants focused on the right things; hold others accountable for meeting the needs of the total business rather than optimizing the performance of only their plant
• Ensures the quality system is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with TS 16949 requirements
• Interface with customer quality representatives concerning problems with product quality and assure that effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Develop a proactive culture for continuous improvement in processes and efficiency.
• Completes other job related tasks as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a Quality function
• 3 to 5 years of direct supervisory experience
• Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
• Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
• Ability to conduct extended computer work and lead discussions with employees.
• Visits to customer facilities and plants may require extended standing and walking.
• Ability to lift, move and manipulate parts required.
• May require domestic and international travel
