Job summary

Antolin is seeking a Product Knowledge Manager to ensure that projects apply optimal engineering solutions in terms of engineering, quality and cost, across offers and serial production. You will verify customer designs meet Antolin feasibility guidelines and promote best practices.

The role involves benchmarking specs, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating knowledge transfers between central HQ and local engineering teams to optimize outcomes for international automotive projects.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• Experience as an Interior Trim Product or Process Engineer is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure internal standard specs (KM BeOne) are met.
• Benchmark market specs from suppliers and competitors.
• Continuously improve standard specs using lessons learned.
• Identify better technical solutions for engineering, quality and cost.
• Promote standard specs in offers, projects and serial production.
• Adapt specs to project-specific requirements and create project specs.
• Release Purchasing RFPs when applicable.
• Support preliminary approvals for product and process design and knowledge transfers between HQ and local engineering.

Mission:

The Product Knowledge manager must ensure that Antolin projects apply the best possible engineering solution (in terms of engineering, quality and cost) in our offers, projects and serial production, exceeding market expectations.

For predefined designs, ensure that the customer design meets Antolin feasibility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the internal technical standard specifications (stored in the internal KM BeOne tool) are met.


• Benchmark best technical specs available in the market, including suppliers and competitors.


• Continuous improvement of the standard technical specs, applicating all Lessons Learned from Projects and all Best Practices from the central HQ.


• Looking for better technical solutions in terms of engineering, quality and cost.


• Guarantee the application of the standard technical specs in all offers and projects. Promote the application of these standards in serial production.


• Support the adaptation of these standards specs to the specific requirements on each project / plant, therefore supporting the creation of the specific project specs.


• If applicable, release the Purchasing RFP's


• Support preliminary approvals for product and process design, including quality, capacity and documentation.


• Manage the transfers of knowledge between the central HQ and the local engineering group

What we are looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive sector


• At least 3 years of experience as an Interior Trim Product or Process Engineer


• Professional and effective communication and representation skills.


• Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.


• Ability to conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees.
