Professional Placement Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer for a high-volume automotive manufacturing operation in the Cleveland area. The role emphasizes supplier quality, new product launches, engineering changes, PPAPs, PFMEAs, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will bring Tier 1 automotive experience and working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC and supplier development to drive robust quality processes and problem solving with suppliers,

Qualifications

• Experience in Tier 1 automotive quality environments is required.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC and Poka-Yoke.

Responsabilités

• Own supplier quality and manufacturability in a high-volume automotive setting.
• Lead new product launches, engineering changes, PPAPs and PFMEAs.
• Develop Control Plans and SPC procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers, engineering and manufacturing to resolve quality issues.

Quality Engineer | Automotive Manufacturing | $85K–$90K

PPS is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a high-volume automotive manufacturing operation in the Cleveland area. This role will focus on supplier quality, new product launches, engineering changes, PPAPs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, SPC, and continuous improvement.

We're looking for someone with strong Tier 1 automotive experience and working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, Poka-Yoke, and supplier development.
