In this position, you’ll own day-to-day quality support, lead containment and corrective actions, and partner with customers and internal stakeholders to strengthen processes and prevent repeat issues. If you’re comfortable in a fast-paced environment and bring hands‑on experience with PPAP, SPC, and core automotive quality expectations, this is a strong opportunity to make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide daily quality support for production and launch activities
  • Lead issue containment, investigation, and follow-through to closure
  • Prepare and support PPAP submissions (including PSWs and supporting documentation)
  • Maintain and update Control Plans and support PFMEA updates as processes change
  • Perform capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and apply basic statistical tools for special characteristics
  • Serve as a customer‑facing point of contact for quality concerns and corrective action updates
  • Write and submit 8D corrective actions and validate root cause and long‑term fixes
  • Support internal and external audits, including layered process audits
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality and manufacturing
What We’re Looking For (Required)
  • 1+ year of quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of PPAP requirements and submission processes
  • Experience using SPC or related quality data tools to monitor process performance
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and inspection requirements
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO-based quality systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands‑on experience
Preferred Experience
  • Customer‑facing quality experience (handling concerns, reporting, follow‑up)
  • Hands‑on exposure to PFMEA, Control Plans, and inspection/measurement planning
  • Experience with customer‑specific requirements (CSRs)
  • Strong problem‑solving and statistical analysis skills
  • Background supporting internal/customer audits and layered audits

This role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires time on the production floor. Physical requirements may include standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
