Job summary

The Visual Group in Blue Springs, MS is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor, maintain, and improve quality indicators across manufacturing shops and the supply base. You will support the objective of delivering the highest quality vehicles to customers.

You will develop and manage quality standards, lead change-point management, and provide technical support for part and shop issues. A strong background in manufacturing and automotive systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Strong communication across teams is essential.
• Experience creating drawings, reports, manuals, and specs.
• Ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Basic understanding of problem-solving tools such as TBP, 8D, Fishbone, 4M, and 5 Why.
• Basic understanding of PFMEA.
• Familiarity with automotive systems.
• Manufacturing experience; automotive experience is a plus.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, RCAs, Process engineering, Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing processes, Continuous improvement, Assembly, and Electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with PPAP and ISO 9001.

• Manage field and warranty issues for the responsible area.

• Experience in Lean manufacturing, Root cause analysis, Process engineering, Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing processes, Continuous improvement, Assembly, and Electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry and PPAP.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Blue Springs, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
