Job summary

Comar, a respected manufacturer in Buena, NJ, is hiring a quality control inspector to ensure product integrity from inspection to packaging. You will perform visual and dimensional sampling, label ware, track quantities, and communicate issues to the supervisor while maintaining GMP/HACCP/SQF compliant work areas.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to read and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Basic math skills required for measurements and packing.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and auditors as needed.
• Willingness to stand for long shifts and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately inspect and pack product to ensure quality.
• Perform visual and dimensional sampling to assess acceptability.
• Label ware and track quantities.
• Communicate problems to process technician or supervisor.
• Operate equipment as required and maintain safety standards.
• Follow GMP/HACCP/SQF guidelines and keep area clean.
