Job summary

Comar is seeking a production operator to operate and monitor packaging equipment, ensuring quality and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards. You will start machines, address malfunctions, and stage materials while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Preferred candidates have 1–3 years of production experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read and follow documents and procedures. Lifting up to 10 pounds is expected in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading/writing skills required.
• Ability to follow safety, operating, and maintenance instructions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Ability to use measuring devices and read diagrams.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend packaging machines (assembly and downstream).
• Start machines and monitor for malfunctions; report issues.
• Clear alarms and jam issues; manage sensors and detectors.
• Stage materials and ensure quality of finished product.
• Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections; maintain clean area.
• Follow Health, Safety, Quality guidelines and GMP.
