Job summary

Comar is seeking a packaging production operator to operate and tend packaging machines, stage materials, and ensure product quality in a GMP/SQF environment. You will start machines, detect malfunctions, clear alarms, and report issues to maintain smooth operations.

A strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards is essential. Preferred candidates have a High School/Vo-Tech diploma and 1–3 years in a production role; experience with ISO 9001/13485 and

Qualifications

• High School or Vo-Tech graduate.
• 1–3 years production operator experience.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO13485 manufacturing environments.
• Familiar with DELMIAWorks for entering production data.
• Read, understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to use measuring devices (Comparator, Dial indicator, Go/No Go gauges).
• Stand for most of the shift and lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend machines that perform packaging functions.
• Start machines and report malfunctions.
• Clear alarms, jams, sensors, leak detectors.
• Stage packaging material or WIP; ensure quality of finished product.
• Perform basic dimensional checks to determine quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.
