Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking an Automatic Press Operator for the X Shift in Holland, MI. The role involves loading coils, stamping per JES and maintaining quality per Plex ERP and company standards.

You will perform inspections, complete worksheets, and help keep a clean, safe work area. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least one year of manufacturing experience, with ability to read and understand English and work up to 12 hours/day on weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to perform duties safely and accurately.
• Ability to read job element sheets and use gages as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 1000+ ton automatic press and load correct coils to produce quality stampings.
• Reference production orders in Plex to stamp product per JES and maintain quality standards.
• Visually inspect parts and ensure conformance to gage instructions and quality policy.
• Complete on-line inspection sheets and documentation; maintain housekeeping and safety in the work area.
• Cross-train on other work centers and support plant flow as needed.
• Meet daily production requirements and support team with timely communication.
