Job summary

Klune Industries, a Precision Castparts subsidiary in Southern California, is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Certification Specialist to support customer shipments and compliance. You will prepare, issue, and maintain quality certifications, review material certifications and heat treatment records, and ensure traceability to purchase orders.

This role requires strong document control skills, experience with ERP systems, basic part marking, and the ability to follow procedures and communicate

Qualifications

• Must maintain quality certifications for shipments.
• Review certification records for accuracy and traceability.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and maintain quality certifications for customer shipments.
• Retrieve and review material certifications, heat treatment records, process certifications, and testing documentation.
• Maintain receiving inspection records and certification documentation in ERP systems.
• Review certification records for accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform basic part marking operations per procedures.
• Inspect parts for damage or paint discrepancies prior to marking.
• Assist with document control activities, including scanning and filing.
• Maintain organized work areas and supplies for daily operations.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, export controls.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
