Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (Klune Industries) in Southern California seeks an detail‑oriented Quality Certifications Specialist to prepare, issue, and maintain certifications for customer shipments, and to support document control across production.

You will perform part marking, review certifications, handle traceability, and coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and other departments to ensure timely shipments while complying with customer requirements and applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow procedures, instructions and drawings.
• Basic blueprint reading and shop math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and maintain quality certifications for shipments.
• Review material certifications, heat treatment records and testing docs.
• Maintain receiving inspection and certification records in ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing and Planning to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform basic part marking and verify part integrity before marking.
• Assist with document control, scanning, filing and record retention.
• Keep work areas organized and adhere to safety and export controls.
